CoQ10 Ubiquinol

Ubiquinol is the activated form of CoQ10 for enhanced bioavailability, and is in an oil-based matrix softgel for enhanced absorption.

Ubiquinol CoQ10 provides support for cellular energy production throughout the body, promotes cardiovascular health, and provides antioxidant protection against lipid peroxidation.

After being absorbed into the body, more than 90% of CoQ10 is transported in its active form, known as (CoQH2-10) or Ubiquinol.

Ubiquinol has strong antioxidant properties. Oxidative stress on the body and increasing age decrease the ratio of Ubiquinol to total CoQ10.

The form of CoQ10 found in most supplements is in the oxidized state called Ubiquinone. In the body, CoQ10 exists primarily in the reduced state as Ubiquinol, which is its most active antioxidant form. Ubiquinone predominates in the cell membranes.
